This Moderation Policy explains the content and activity rules that apply to SellWorks. It also explains how SellWorks may review, restrict, remove, or refuse content or accounts. This policy is part of the SellWorks Terms of Service.
SellWorks is an AI platform for ecommerce and advertising content. Because AI-generated marketing materials can affect consumers, brands, creators, marketplaces, and advertising platforms, users must use SellWorks responsibly and lawfully.
1. Our moderation goals
Our goals are to:
- support lawful and truthful ecommerce marketing;
- protect people from deception, harassment, exploitation, impersonation, and privacy violations;
- respect intellectual property, publicity, privacy, and brand rights;
- reduce scams, fake reviews, fake endorsements, and misleading advertising;
- prevent abuse of the Service, credits, trials, and generation systems; and
- maintain a safe, reliable, and trustworthy product for users.
2. Content we may review
We may review Inputs, prompts, product URLs, uploaded files, generated Outputs, reports, public sharing, metadata, usage patterns, account activity, and related information as needed to operate the Service, enforce our policies, comply with law, protect safety, and prevent abuse.
3. Prohibited content and activity
You may not use SellWorks to create, upload, generate, distribute, publish, or facilitate content or activity involving the following categories.
Child safety
Any child sexual exploitation or abuse, sexualized content involving minors, grooming, trafficking, or content that endangers children is strictly prohibited.
Sexual, violent, hateful, or harassing content
Do not create pornography, explicit sexual content, non-consensual intimate content, graphic violence, threats, harassment, hate speech, dehumanizing content, or content that targets people based on protected or sensitive characteristics.
Illegal or harmful activity
Do not promote, facilitate, or instruct illegal activity, including drug trafficking, hacking, fraud, scams, phishing, malware, evasion, counterfeit goods, or other criminal acts.
Deceptive ecommerce, ads, and product claims
Do not create deceptive or misleading marketing, including false product claims, fake scarcity, fake discounts, fabricated test results, unsupported health or safety claims, misleading environmental claims, false income claims, or claims that cannot be substantiated.
Fake reviews, testimonials, endorsements, and UGC
Do not create or publish fake reviews, fake testimonials, fake customer stories, fake influencer endorsements, fake before-and-after results, fabricated UGC-style experiences, or content that suggests a real person used or endorsed a product when that is not true.
Unauthorized likeness, voice, identity, or private information
Do not use a person's name, image, likeness, voice, identity, personal information, or private information without the rights and consent needed for your intended use. Do not impersonate real people, public figures, creators, employees, customers, or influencers.
Intellectual property and counterfeit goods
Do not upload, reference, or generate content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, publicity rights, privacy rights, trade secrets, or other third-party rights. Do not promote counterfeit goods, unauthorized replicas, or products that mislead consumers about brand origin.
Regulated, restricted, or unsafe products
Do not use SellWorks to create unlawful, unsafe, or misleading promotion for regulated or restricted products, including illegal drugs, unsafe supplements, prescription drugs where prohibited, weapons, gambling, adult services, dangerous chemicals, or other products that cannot lawfully be advertised in the relevant market or platform.
Misinformation and sensitive advice
Do not generate materially misleading information, disinformation, conspiracy content, or unauthorized legal, medical, financial, or professional advice. SellWorks should not be used as a substitute for qualified professional review.
Political, civic, and public-interest manipulation
Do not use SellWorks for political campaigning, direct lobbying, voter manipulation, civic misinformation, or deceptive public-interest persuasion.
Service abuse
Do not attempt to bypass moderation, rate limits, billing, credits, account restrictions, security controls, or technical protections. Do not create multiple accounts to obtain repeated free credits or to evade enforcement.
4. High-risk content requiring extra review
Certain content may be allowed only if handled carefully and lawfully. You are responsible for additional review before publishing content involving:
- health, wellness, supplements, medical devices, or treatment claims;
- financial, income, investment, employment, or business opportunity claims;
- children's products or child-directed advertising;
- safety, environmental, legal, or compliance claims;
- endorsements, testimonials, influencer content, or UGC-style content;
- products subject to marketplace, advertising, or regional restrictions; and
- any use of a person's likeness, voice, name, identity, or private information.
5. Responsible AI principles
SellWorks supports responsible use of generative AI. Users must keep humans accountable for final content. AI Outputs should be reviewed before publication, especially when used in ads, ecommerce listings, social media, product pages, or customer-facing campaigns.
Users must obtain all necessary rights and consents for product assets, brand assets, likeness, voice, names, testimonials, reviews, and third-party content. Users should clearly disclose synthetic or AI-generated content where required by law, platform policy, or consumer expectations.
SellWorks does not use non-public Customer Content to train public or general-purpose AI models unless the user has given permission. SellWorks may use aggregated, de-identified, or synthetic usage data and safety signals to improve reliability, safety, and performance.
6. Automated screening and human review
We may use automated systems, machine learning classifiers, keyword filters, provider safety tools, metadata analysis, user reports, and human review to identify possible violations. Automated systems may make mistakes. Human review may be used for escalations, appeals, suspicious usage, or high-risk content.
7. Enforcement actions
Depending on the circumstances, SellWorks may take one or more actions, including:
- refusing to generate content;
- blocking prompts, URLs, uploads, or outputs;
- removing or restricting content;
- reducing limits, rate limiting, or disabling features;
- withholding or not refunding credits for policy-violating activity;
- suspending or terminating accounts or workspaces;
- requiring proof of rights, consent, or authorization;
- notifying affected parties where appropriate;
- preserving records where legally required; or
- reporting serious threats, illegal content, or abuse to appropriate authorities where required or appropriate.
8. User reports
If you believe content generated or hosted through SellWorks violates this policy, infringes rights, or creates safety concerns, contact support@sellworks.ai with:
- a description of the content or activity;
- the URL, screenshot, asset ID, account, or other identifying information;

If your content, account, or generation request is restricted and you believe the decision was wrong, contact support@sellworks.ai with a detailed explanation and any supporting information. We may review appeals, but submitting an appeal does not guarantee reversal, response, restored credits, or restored access.
